Sadig Shiakh Eldin Gibril

This cool Sudanese oud master plays on 6 of the 7 tracks of "Wadi hafla". Sadig was born and raised in 1962 Rigl Elfola - Omdurman (Khartoum) and now teaches ud and tours the world giving concerts. His unique style gives the album an extra dimension.
Sadig eldin Gibril left Khartoum in 1994 and relocated to Belgium where he achieved his Master in Arabic ud at the prestigous Lemmensinstituut in Leuven. He now also works now for the Lessius institute, an internationally oriented university college in Leuven, near Brussels.
